Since the year of our inception, our firm and our lawyers have been involved in numerous cases – from the Magistrates to the Federal Court. It should be noted that only cases that reach the High Court, Court of Appeal and Federal Court are reported.
The selection is made by the editors of the respective journals and is based inter alia on whether the cases involve matters of law or public interest. Compared to the number of cases handled by the Courts, in fact, relatively few are actually “reported”.
Our firm and our lawyers have been involved in many such cases over the years and up to the end of 2016, we have had 117 cases reported in the Current Law Journal and 103 cases reported in the Malayan Law Journal. This is a high number for a firm of our size which reflects the nature and quality of the work under our care.
A list of these cases up to October 2016 appears below and will be updated from time to time:
- List of Cases Published in the Malayan Law Journal from 1985 to October 2016
